- I know I did too much in the garden on Sunday, I went to dance class last night and I just couldn't, I could hardly move, I'd fallen asleep in the chair in the afternoon and when I got up to walk the dogs then get ready for dancing, I was so stiff, my legs, hips, arms neck and back just wouldn't work properly, I sat and watched, I took a couple of |Paracetomol before I went to bed and strangely enough I woke up this morning feeling fine. and as a bonus it's dry and the sun is shining, I popped into the garden centre and bought a couple of plants, a Monarda, and beautiful blue Eriygnium [spelling] anyhow a large ornamental thistle, but I will be taking it steady.
- Opened the fridge and the door came down on one side, sigh, so that's another chore, empty it all out drag it from under the counter and see if I can sort it. That's it for now folks.
If you come on here looking for some mind-blowing conversation or profound words of wisdom, well you've come to the wrong place and will be disappointed. I'm just an ordinary bod who likes to share my day with anyone who cares to listen. Tales of my dogs, my garden, my family and happenings in my life that I feel might just be amusing....If you're happy with that, draw up a chair, light up a ciggie if you wish or have a cup of tea and make yourself at home.

I am glad you are feeling better today. I hope you don't have to buy a new fridge. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Beth, getting old is a pain in the butt, things you just don't bounce back as quick. I shouldn't need to buy a fridge it's just the door hinge, should be a case of a bit of engineering or something. fingers crossed.
DeleteI know what you Arlene we always pay with ache's and pains. I hope you have a steady few days enjoy the sunshine maybe . That would be nice, as it happens the evening here is quite pleasant. They say the gulf stream is moving next week In the right direction. So lets hope next week proves to be a sunny one after all. Sheila xx
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping my fingers well and truly crossed for the weather improving Sheila, [as well as the fridge] ha ha. I want to get the garden up to scratch and get on with some painting, I haven't done any for weeks'
DeleteHappy your feeling better. Hate those ache's and pains, then the frig give you trouble. Hope it's only a quick fix.
ReplyDeleteFeeling much looser to-day thanks Terry, and the fridge will soon be mended, when I open the door it comes away from the body at the top, and it has to be eased back, fortunately it''s not losing any chill.
