Thank you for visiting and please come back, Arlene, Tango and Ruby
If you come on here looking for some mind-blowing conversation or profound words of wisdom, well you've come to the wrong place and will be disappointed. I'm just an ordinary bod who likes to share my day with anyone who cares to listen. Tales of my dogs, my garden, my family and happenings in my life that I feel might just be amusing....If you're happy with that, draw up a chair, light up a ciggie if you wish or have a cup of tea and make yourself at home.
What a beautiful scene. You are a very talented lady. You are so right, no matter how much we would like to, we can't hold on to everything.
ReplyDeleteThank you Beth, and you know well that sometimes it's best to let some things go, but not all.
DeleteWhat a beautiful painting. You are very good with Scenery paintings. Wish I could paint.
ReplyDeleteThank you Horst, some are easier than others, and I'll tell you a good way to start painting... get an picture with reasonably bold articles, people, objects, nothing too intricate, buy some cheap Acrylic paints and brushes
Deleteand paint over the picture subjects, easy peasy. Everyone can paint, not all can be great, but you do improve with practice, honestly
Lovely Painting Arlene such a talent, hope you get a good price. Enjoy the exhibition many hugs to you and the Gals. Hope Tango is doing well. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Sheila, It would be nice, I've put it up for £45, but there are a lot of talented artists in the group, so we'll see. we are all OK. hugs {{o}}
DeleteJust beautiful. I love these kinds of paintings, so good. You should get a lot for this. I hope Tango and Ruby are OK.
ReplyDeleteThank you Great Gran, it would be nice if I did get a lot for the painting, but I now understand when they talk about artists starving in garrets. LOL Thankfully I do it for pleasure not to live. Both dogs are well and sound asleep now after our long picnic day out.
