A couple of photos

I've been fiddling around with my blog again, and I prefer these softer colours I didn't like the 'in your face red'
Thanks for your comments folks. and I said I'd put up a couple of photos of Highcliffe Castle.
It's not a very old castle in itself, but is built on the site of an older one, I must admit though I did go to a tour of it, I didn't really take it all in, something to do with the Rothesays of Bute, I will go into the history of Highcliffe one day.
The original got burned down several years ago and was left to go almost to ruin, then it was taken over and almost completely rebuilt and I must admit is rather nice. It's used nowadays for weddings [not cheap] and functions. The map is very spotted with rain drops, I didn't think they'd look like that. Oh well it's just a bit of history of where I live, catch you all later, I'm off to a  quiz night to-night.

  4. Morning all, thanks for visiting, Yes it is a nice castle, now, it was a wreck and ruin when I first came to this area 20 years ago. it's saving grace was that you could park for free and let the dogs run through what should have been the gardens, down to the sea.
Thanks for compliments on my blog, don't know if you know there's a good selections of backgrounds in blogspot, go to 'design'on second bar on the left, 'template designer' and clik on 'backgrounds' when it comes up clik on the arrow thing at the side of it and you will come up with various designs to apply to your blog.
Nice to see you back Ann you've been so busy on WP I thought you were deserting us, :-)) when I get myself sorted here, I will transfer my spaces blog over there and try having another go, keeping all yours ang TG's comments for guidance, but right now I like Blogspot and just beginning to feel a bit more comfortable.

  8. I was wondering if anyone could see my blogs or not, I don't know how to make it visible. I'm having problems, some people's blogs I can see, some I can't some people are 'followers' some are friends. I thought something might be up with my blog, because I'm not really getting any comments except from Anne. I can also access my blog when it tells me I need to sign in, then suddenly it won't let me do anything until I sign in again. *scratching head* I'm soooo confused. lol HELP! hehe.

  9. Arlene, is there a way to make my blog visible to my friends and followers without the whole internet being able to see it? I thought that I had it set for that, but apparently not. :(
