  1. Thank you, Arlene! I'm curious about something. Do you celebrate the Fifth of November?

  2. I personally don't but there is usually organised fireworks displays and a huge bonfire by the local councils and charity organisations to raise money, They have a Guy Fawkes on top of the bonfire. Time was when people had a bonfire and sort of barbecue in their garden with chestnuts and potatoes roasting in the fire, but with all the health and safety laws, not many now.

  3. OH, Arlene, that is SO thoughtful of you! But even with that devilish fall-down-laughing humor of yours, your thoughtfulness always shines through. I mean, my gosh, my Sam & Lucy even say, "Oh look! Arlene is on your page!" Now you know, pets never lie ;) xoxoxo

  4. Just shoot me. The LAST part of the sentence was supposed to say, They can spot a good person a mile away.

I am NOT typing anymore today...well, maybe just a little more :)

  5. Oh dear Jenny YOU make ME laugh, your spelling mistakes are on a par with mine, But I'm pooped and off to bed in a mo, I've been messing around with my 'this'n'that' blog in preparation for changing my background on here, Not had a good day, woke up with a Vertigo attack, and I've felt a bit tired all day.So - g'night, hope you ALL had a lovely day, catch you tomorrow and thanks for lovely comments.

  6. Thank you, Arlene. Now what are you doing, having vertigo attacks? I thought that was my specialty. The main difference is I usually wake up AFTER having one.........laid out on the floor with Sam licking my face.

As far as Jenny's typos go there is a simple explanation. She is a fellow Virginian and makes those mistakes intentionally so that people won't think I'm the only one in the Old Dominion incapable of communicating in English.

  7. I can make more typos than anyone I know. Arlene, thank you for being my friend. The internet has been a real blessing to me but I often stay on too long. I'm sorry you have vertigo, no fun. A few months ago , I had an attack. I blogged about Kassey as she was too impatient for me to get up. She didn't understand why I couldn't get outta bed. She chewed a wire to teach me a lesson. lol Hope you feel better tomorrow.

  9. Now then Jenny go careful with Chip, you know what they say, go gently with the afflicted, I don't know who said it, but I think it could be one of mine. lol.
