However, the bod came up after he phoned telling me he was lost and couldn’t find my address,
He duly arrived and gave the cooker the once over as well as checking the bulb, and, guess what,………….. it was a faulty fitting, YAY, I was smugly pleased, as I was hoping I wouldn’t look an idiot calling out an engineer just to change a bulb, He will be putting it in his report to go back to the manufacturer, then getting in touch with me with a replacement part. Justice.!
Off to bed now.

ReplyDeleteYah for you. I hate buying new things just for worry of it not working and dealing with warranties and such. I just can't be bothered with getting myself all worked up and that is the problem I will not sleep for nights over it. Also as we don't have a phone dealing with these issues become a real problem. Also I have a hard time being firm with someone else. Anyway you inspire me. Thanks
ReplyDeleteStill catching up with old comments, Thanks for replies folks, and Carrie, if you don't ask, you don't get, though not having a phone can be a problem, and if you're not very good at face to face confrontation, it does make it easier.
