Just a quickie folks to let you know I'm back home from a wonderful holiday in the United States, starting in New York and ending in Washington, experiencing the storm of a lifetime, and record breaking temperatures of 101 degrees. I haven;t had any sleep for about 24 hours and things are starting to look a bit treble, so I'm off to bed in a mo. I'll do my best to catch up with you all in the next few days, till then take care.
If you come on here looking for some mind-blowing conversation or profound words of wisdom, well you've come to the wrong place and will be disappointed. I'm just an ordinary bod who likes to share my day with anyone who cares to listen. Tales of my dogs, my garden, my family and happenings in my life that I feel might just be amusing....If you're happy with that, draw up a chair, light up a ciggie if you wish or have a cup of tea and make yourself at home.

ReplyDeleteHi Beth, thank you for your comment , I did look for you but the heatwave just didn't let us stay out long enough ;-) Yes I did enjoy my visit very much despite the heat, what a shock to come home to rain and grey skies.

Hi Kirsten, I too have been a it busy but I hope to do a blog-tale maybe to-day, was in Washington DC, loved it, it WAS hot, but then I think I must be a daughter of old Beelzebub as I love the heat, though admit to it being excessive. Would have been lovely to meet up, but for obvious reasons I didn't want to post up on the internet that I would be away from home.
