Food experimentation

I've got the family coming round tomorrow so thought I'd bake a loaf for sandwiches, as it was cooking  I was going through the recipes and came across one I haven't tried before, Currant and Honey, so nothing ventured nothing gained, here it is, I haven't tasted it nor could I cut it as I've only taken it out of the bread pan, so we'll see, it smells OK. I'm off out with the dogs in a mo. and then out for a games evening, Maybe get a chance to catch up to-morrow, till then get the kettle on and we'll sample this loaf together, how's that? Bye for now
Here it is with the seeded loaf I made

Here it is on it's own, Looks not bad, we shall see.

Thank you for visiting and please come back, Arlene, Tango and Ruby

  2. I will try that Horst, I do love toast, and I must admit I seem to have got better at making bread now, haven't had a boob for a while, sticking to the recipe seems to work. Lovely to see you. X

  4. It sure looks good Arlene so hopefully it will taste as good, fingers crossed it's cooked just right. I've got a bread maker but I just do the plain loafs mainly and takes all the guessing out whether it's been cooked enough....

    1. It wasn't too bad Lady Jude, much firmer texture and it was tasty with butter and raspberry jam.! I used to do just plain bread, but decided to branch out and try some other recipes, Go on have a go, you might well be pleasantly surprised, My usual is sunflower seed. And just in case there was doubt, I use a breadmaker too. Much easier.
