Thank you for visiting and please come back, Arlene, Tango and Ruby
I have lots of old VHS tapes mostly of the grandchildren when the were young, also of my dogs that have gone. I was hoping to transfer them to DVD so sat one afternoon and sorted out all the 'bits' I had a tape in the VHS player and wanted to eject it, it just didn't want to co-operate, it was well and truly stuck behind the flap which was open. After much tugging and pulling I eventually resorted to pliers to release it. The equipment was well and truly scuppered.
I went online and purchased another, it was 2nd hand as I don't think they make them anymore. I've been catching up with gardening for a week or so, but as to-day is misty and chilly thought it a good day to work on it.
I've spent half the morning trying to get the creature connected, only realizing that the new TV I'd bought has no scart sockets. Grrrrrrrr.
The sun has come out (nearly) so what do I do,, have another go or do some gardening????, BTW there were no instructions nor remote with the VHS player, not a happy bunny.
If you come on here looking for some mind-blowing conversation or profound words of wisdom, well you've come to the wrong place and will be disappointed. I'm just an ordinary bod who likes to share my day with anyone who cares to listen. Tales of my dogs, my garden, my family and happenings in my life that I feel might just be amusing....If you're happy with that, draw up a chair, light up a ciggie if you wish or have a cup of tea and make yourself at home.
I hope you get the vcr figured out. That is really odd that there is no way to plug it into your tv. Good luck! xx
