Eaaster outing.

Apart from the weather Easter has been nice, I went to my older daughter for lunch with the rest of the family. Lovely Sunday roast beef and a delish Chocolate hot cross bun pudding! also cheesecake, and jelly with cream, ice cream or custard, I baked and  took over a Victoria  Sponge, Delia Smith's recipe which was nice.
I had been trying to catch up with garden jobs but today they were on hold, and yes I did have a nice family lunch, afterwards I went out with Tommy [gr gr'g-son, and , Martin,  son in law and his grand dad, for a bit of kite flying, well how I wish I'd taken the cam corder, it was hilarious, 5 dogs , one little 5yr old boy an old lady [me] and the kite flyer, [Martin] there was no wind to speak of, so it hardly left the ground, but when it did the squeals of delight would waken the dead, then it would crash and the string would get tangled round dogs or anyone who was in the way, eventually one of the struts broke. but we've promised him a better one for when he comes over to me, as up on the cliff top you can almost always be assured of wind. Everyone enjoyed it, back to Arlene's for a cuppa and welsh cake, now home, with dogs fed and watered and me relaxing.
I am probably closing my Wordpress blog as every time I post or reply to a post I get asked for my password, I put it in and it's WRONG, I've lost track of the number of passwords I've submitted, the most annoying thing is that when I change the pw I go back and the reply or post has gone. absolute pain in the butt, Blogger is very much easier in many ways. I just need a few more friends. :-(

Thank you for visiting and please come back, Arlene, Tango and Ruby

    1. Oh dear Horst I am sorry that you appeared to spend Easter alone, how unkind of them not to consider you. I consider myself so fortunate with my wonderful family, If you lived closer, you could come over to me on our next family outing at mine in a couple of weeks, but i'll raise a glass to you. Thanks you for calling it means a lot, as I don't have many friends on blogger, but it's not the end of the world now, is it. People like you make up for it. Hugs to you
