Chaos

Hi folks, haven't been on for a day or two, my head is not too well I went to find a fresh pot of marmalade this morning for breakfast and I can't, in fact I can't b***y well find anything, I didn't think to photograph the kitchen before we ripped it out, but I have done now, not a pretty sight, I'm glad you all found it amusing, I suppose it is really, in the past tense, lol
One corner

Another  corner

Cupboard under sink, I've had to leave a few bits that I use, especially the cosmetics bag !

This top lot over the sink will be gone and the window made into a bay

all the rest is just the stuff from the cupboards and drawers

Is it any wonder that I'm tearing my hair out, I have to live like this for about another week, then I have to put it all back in the new cupboards,
I will of course post up pics of the finished project, that is if I'm not in the nut house before then.

  1. Oh Arlene, I know, I know. It is really hard doing it all but the finished project is always so worth it. I love seeing a room, especially kitchens, in the ripped apart step of the renovation. You can see all the colors it once was and all the different floorings as well. It's fascinating. I can't wait to see how it all turns out. Keep your camera handy and get pictures in the different stages. You'll be glad you did....and so will we :D
    XOXOXO

  5. It will be all worhtwhile in the end Arlene , I must say you do have some really lovely furniture , I particially like the writing desk and display cabinet really smart. They all match beautifully what kind of wood is it? Take care and if you can find a seat and put your feet up. hugs Sheilaxx

  6. Well thank you very much Sheila, that's a kind comment, I think it's walnut, my girls think it's a bit old fashioned now, but I must admit to preferring wood to chrome, glass and leather.
I do keep a seating area free, a nice recliner chair. mmmmmmmmmmmmm bliss
