One corner
Another corner
Cupboard under sink, I've had to leave a few bits that I use, especially the cosmetics bag !
This top lot over the sink will be gone and the window made into a bay
all the rest is just the stuff from the cupboards and drawers
Is it any wonder that I'm tearing my hair out, I have to live like this for about another week, then I have to put it all back in the new cupboards,
I will of course post up pics of the finished project, that is if I'm not in the nut house before then.
Oh Arlene, I know, I know. It is really hard doing it all but the finished project is always so worth it. I love seeing a room, especially kitchens, in the ripped apart step of the renovation. You can see all the colors it once was and all the different floorings as well. It's fascinating. I can't wait to see how it all turns out. Keep your camera handy and get pictures in the different stages. You'll be glad you did....and so will we :D

Thanks folks, keep the positive vibes coming my way or I'll lose heart very quickly, how I wish I could have just gone on holiday and come back when it was through.
ReplyDeleteIt will be all worhtwhile in the end Arlene , I must say you do have some really lovely furniture , I particially like the writing desk and display cabinet really smart. They all match beautifully what kind of wood is it? Take care and if you can find a seat and put your feet up. hugs Sheilaxx
ReplyDeleteWell thank you very much Sheila, that's a kind comment, I think it's walnut, my girls think it's a bit old fashioned now, but I must admit to preferring wood to chrome, glass and leather.
ReplyDeleteI do keep a seating area free, a nice recliner chair. mmmmmmmmmmmmm bliss
You didn't leave a space on the couch for you to sit down Arlene... Sorry about your breakfast.
ReplyDeleteYippee, I found the marmalade!. And no, no room on the couch Lady J. but there's only little me.
ReplyDeleteArlene, thanks for showing us the progression. It's gonna look really good when finished. I missed this update, so got to do some checking .
