Busy day

I'm sitting here in my jim-jams and dressing gown, even though it's still light outside, I had an early bath and didn't feel like dressing again.
The day started with a nice long leisurely walk with the dogs on the beach, a little bit of shopping and home for a nice cup of coffee and a read of the papers. After washing up a quick dust and vacuum I sorted out my spare room and printed out some literature to send to the vets.
Then an early lunch with another quick read of the paper,  I went into the garden as it was still quite pleasant, had a look around and decided to paint the shed, something I had planned to do the other week, but it was a bit too hot, I no sooner got changed into old clothes opened the paint pot, it started to rain, *%$@+* fortunately it was just a passing shower. I got that job done, so that's both sheds painted, I'll do the fences when I feel in the mood. Another cup of tea and a biscuit, shared with dogs of course, I decided on some tidying up in the garden trimming the edges and dead heading. I was going to bake but by this time it was around 4 pm a bit late, so took the dogs out early for another nice walk. Home, jumped in the bath, supper  and here I am enjoying a leisurely evening.
