It was my eldest daughter Arlene's birthday on Friday, so the celebrations continued. :-). Her sister Karen my younger daughter, offered to have the party at her house, and as the weather might have been 'iffy' decided against a BBQ and settled instead for a take away of Chinese and Indian food. Arlene, hubby Martin and her three children with their spouses, little Tommy her grandson, Karen Jason and Rhianna friends Lorraine and Neil and myself made up the party, Well it wasn't a party in the knees up manner, just a 'foodie fest. '
For dessert, Karen had made two large bowls of fresh fruit salad, plus a couple of choices of tart with fresh cream, then along came a birthday cake and tea/coffee, plus of course, a little tipple for those who wanted it.
It was a good evening, I left around 10.30 pm leaving the younger ones to enjoy the rest of the evening..
