Just an update on my Red Riding Hood costume, I've cut out the cape and hood, though haven't done any stitching on it, as it has to be dyed red, [it's pink] so I thought it best get that done as I haven't got a lot of time. It's soaking in a bath of red dye in the sink, I'll take it out later and run it through the wash and hang it on the line to-morrow. Fingers crossed it turns out OK as I haven't got a back up costume. I'm making an apron just basic, and have bought a longish old fashioned brown skirt from a charity shop, or did I tell you that?
A pair of white socks and dolly shoes next and I've got a little plastic basket, minus a handle that i will pretty up with a few grocery items should complete the ensemble, I'm getting to look forward to it now as long as it all goes to plan.
Watch this space.
Thank you for visiting and please come back, Arlene, Tango and Ruby
If you come on here looking for some mind-blowing conversation or profound words of wisdom, well you've come to the wrong place and will be disappointed. I'm just an ordinary bod who likes to share my day with anyone who cares to listen. Tales of my dogs, my garden, my family and happenings in my life that I feel might just be amusing....If you're happy with that, draw up a chair, light up a ciggie if you wish or have a cup of tea and make yourself at home.
Hi Arlene, I've just posted the Award and would like you to view it and let me know what the award is for. Thank you for the Award. Now do I have to do anything for this award? I also posted the song that I mentioned to you in your last post. Go have a listen.
