Sad News

Just a quick post to tell you that I had my beloved Tango given rest this lunch time, Life all became just too much for him, and after another disturbed and restless night I made the decision this morning and had the veterinary over. I stayed with him to the end and was so glad to have been able to, the only time I had to go away was when they put him in the body bag to take him back to the surgery and await cremation. My heart is cracked wide open, He was my Little Spesh and the joy of my life, May he find rest now, and then get up on his legs and go and find all my other dear dogs, especially Jet, who was his best friend and companion, if you see two dogs in the sea frolicking around, one a big black collie and a little tri coloured one, it could be them, give them a cheery wave.

    1. Hello Great Grann, It's lovely to come back on here and find out my friends have not only expressed their initial sympathy, but come back to make sure I'm OK. which I am, I'm holding on, by telling myself it was a necessary act, and to have delayed it further would have been unkind, it helps lessen the grief. Ruby is still a little bit lost. X

  11. Hello Sheila, I'm doing fine thank you, holding it together most of the time, I am so glad you're happy with your painting, I'd feel it was simply a waste of time and money if it wasn't what the owners felt was 'their best friend' Sending hugs and kind thoughts back XX

    1. Thank you so much I appreciate every kind thought that has been sent to me, It's been a hard time the past fortnight, at first his deterioration was hardly noticeable, but the last two weeks it accelerated, and I knew the time was coming, He just couldn't give me any more, nor could I expect it. He gave me a lifetime of love and loyalty. I'd like to think that if I asked him if he'd do it all again, he'd say Yes please, I know I would. X

  14. oh no, arlene! so sorry to hear this :( i know all too well the experience of having to say goodbye to a special friend like that. i have been so out of touch i missed the news until today, as i am playing catch up myself. i hope your heart is mending, and life has begun to adjust to the difference. its just not fair that we out live our furrie friends. dont think i would ever want to be immortal in that sense ...
