A friend sent me this link through email. You may not want to look at these pics, but you can't begin to ralize how bad the devastation was till you do, To think that my daughter and I were staying there in June, some pictures are heartbreaking.

Thank you for visiting and please come back, Arlene, Tango and Ruby
If you come on here looking for some mind-blowing conversation or profound words of wisdom, well you've come to the wrong place and will be disappointed. I'm just an ordinary bod who likes to share my day with anyone who cares to listen. Tales of my dogs, my garden, my family and happenings in my life that I feel might just be amusing....If you're happy with that, draw up a chair, light up a ciggie if you wish or have a cup of tea and make yourself at home.
I have seen all of this on television. It is heartbreaking. xx
ReplyDeleteI agree Beth.

It is such a tragedy and so many lives lost too. So many areas still desperately waiting for help to come before they all freeze in the winter...makes me realise, if I needed to, just how lucky we are here in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteAren't we just Wolfie, but it's sad that it often takes a disaster like this to make one aware of it.
