Where does the time go?

Friday already, the days fly by so quickly, though I do admit since I lost my dear little man, my Tango, I have been trying to keep myself occupied, I'm afraid if I slow down for too long my brain will start recollecting too many memories, I haven't cried as much as I thought I would, it's more a sense of deep sadness.
On Tuesday I went to my daughter Arlene's for the day, I went along mid afternoon and we caught up with various bits of news. Arlene had said that the girls and partners were coming over and Lisa was bringing a DVD, though she wouldn't say what the film was. When the family arrived they brought a Chinese take away, yummy ! then we settled down to watch the film, it was Marigold Hotel,  what a good film it was, I did enjoy it, Maggie Smith played a brilliant role. I'd heard it was a good film, but knew noting of the content.
I got home around 10.30 pm, it was an altogether enjoyable evening. I had Art group Wednesday afternoon, and went again to Mah Jong, I do enjoy that, keeps the brain in gear.
To-day I went along to see a friend who is recovering from an operation, then I had a dentist appointment, only a check up, and I'm glad to say no follow up treatment.
Tomorrow  we have another games evening, that should be fun, we have a good choice of games, from various card and board games, dominoes, snooker, table tennis, So will pass another evening, and another week almost over, Enjoy your week-end. XX  Arlene and Ruby.

Thank you for visiting and please come back, Arlene, Tango and Ruby

    1. I do my best to keep busy Beth as I expect you do, it helps pass the time when you're on your own. Take care and enjoy the wee end, though on retirement it doesn't mean as much as it used to. X
