Answering comments

Hi all, thought I'd do a 'reply to all' post as I can't do individual ones for some reason, I've tried all sorts of comment boxes but it just doesn't work, so....First thanks for comments, Lo, glad you could read it now, anything to oblige :-) Pen, Hi hun, yes it was a run of bad luck, hopefully the old devil will put his taint on someone else for a change, I too think of Tango...often, daily in fact, just as you probably do with dear Beth and Sheila does of Wille-e, they never really leave us do they. I can't believe it's almost six months, I still expect to see his cheeky little face peeking up over the side of the armchair. ..sigh.
Beth, yes that skin cancer is a sneaky character, i never sunbathe, but it apparently the face/hair/eye colouring is a contributing factor, my daughter, with the same colouring, very fair with green eyes and naturally fair hair, has several carcinomas and has had a couple removed, hopefully this one is zapped, I still have some more marks but cream will be used first. fingers crossed.
Sheila it was actually a cancer, though not as deadly as normal ones, unless it decides to spread, woooooooooo. Hopefully it's been all cut out.
I've got someone coming on Saturday to check out my boiler, I do hope it won't be long till it's either mended or if I have to have a new one, it gets installed quickly, it's not exactly summertime here. Here's a little pic of me when I had the power cut, it looks like I'm having some sort of Satanic ritual.
With the help of my little wind up radio and three hot water bottles and a couple of fleece blankets over my knees, I was OK.

Thank you for visiting and please come back, Arlene, Tango and Ruby

  1. I just visited the dermatologist yesterday to have 2 places removed for biopsy. I spent many years sunbathing. I thoroughly regret it now.

  2. Hi Arlene, I wasn't using a compound bow at the time it was a Recurve Bow, the bow was called a Black Widow (my bow). I use a Compound Bow now and have for many years. Everyone uses them now. Hard to find a Recurve Bow now a days.
