To-day [Sunday]

Hi all, I'm home again, make up off, jim-jams on hot water bottle tucked behind my back and a snugly over my knees, I think I'll jsut go to sleep now, I feel so comfy. but.....After giving Tango his walk in the fffffffreezing cold put on the glad rags and some paint picked Avril up and off to our lunch date,  The food was scrumptious, I had not three, not four, but five roast potatoes, with my salmon. bang goes the diet! Then off to my daughter's and more food, bang goes the diet , again!. I took my cam corder, but unfortunately didn't get a chance to record anything, but took a few photos. Tommy was a good boy to-day and behaved beautifully, he'd had a busy day and by the time we got there about 4 pm he was getting tired, here are a few pics.

That's it folks. I'll post the shortbread recipe in the next blog then bed. I'm pooped.

  1. Ohhhh, he is the CUTEST little guy! Isn't it great when it gets to be that time of life that you can just spoil them and not have to actually raise them, lol. They get out of hand? Heck, just give them back! Seriously, Arlene, he is a doll.
I'm looking forward to that shortbread recipe :)
I spent this entire day making lots and lots and LOTS of turkey soup, and then delivered lots of containers of it to my neighbors. It came out GREAT. Good thing since I'll be eating it til the cows come home ;) xoxoxo

  2. Hi Jenny, caught this before I go to bed, you'll see that I've put up the recipe. I was going to ask, did you have any turkey to actually eat! it seems you've made so much else from it, you certainly had your money's worth. LOL, I do a nice soup too with chicken and Ham, must make some more as I cleaned out the freezer to help out with the diet, the one that's gone to pot by to-day's pigging out. You're right about spoiling kids, it's lovely to come home to uncomplicated and undemanding dogs. Ho, Ho am I selfish or not?

  3. That G-Grand is a handsome fellow. Thanks for sharing his Birthday. That train gives me an idea for my little ones that age. I always wonder what to buy for Christmas.

Tommy looks as if he's had a wonderful birthday to remember, and some fantastic looking gifts... wouldn't mind the train set myself...I always disliked Pass the Parcel 'cos I never won anything. ;-( .... Glad you had a great time.
