Cheering myself up, or drowning my sorrows\/

Feeling a bit down with this blogging business, so thought  I'd break open the Christmas Baileys and Shortbread,

CHEERS! AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

Ruby is in the background in bed, and I'm feeling a bit drowsy now myself,

  1. Cookies and Bailey's sure sounds good.
The weather here is starting to turn bad again, the forecast says that it will snow for the next few days and it is supposed to get cold again, in the -20's C for the next week or so.

  5. Hi all, thank you for your comments, all much appreciated, Seems that the weather is misbehaving itself all around the planet, Horst I hope your not going to be inconvenienced too much if it snows, and that temperature, brrrrrrrrrrrrrr I'd take to bed and stay there.
Baileys is a lovely liqueur GrGran, that is if you like your drink sweet, tit's like well sweetened coffee, with a slight alcoholic bite.
Yes Beth it was very tasty and went down well. bang goes the diet !
We had lovely weather here today Sheila, in fact I did some gardening. much better than ironing lol. I take it you have a canary? how lovely I do like to hear them sing, I had one many years ago, called Rodney. [after Stewart], my daughter was a fan.

  9. Hey, Arlene! I'm playing catch up on blog walking today and I am soooo far behind. You know what would make the longgggg blog walk better? That Bailey's and the cookies. Darn, I can't believe you ate all the cookies and finished the glass before I got here ;) Next time, I'll run instead of walking. What's that old saying? "Snooze you lose". Good seeing you :D XOXOXO
