To-day

It rained to-day from first thing in the morning and is still raining at 9 pm, well not exactly raining, but just a fine misty drizzle, what we would call a mizzle in Scotland I call it graveyard weather.

Well I took Tango and Ruby out for their walk around 9.30 in the morning, got back at 11, and 5 minutes later the postman came with my new printer, YESSSSS. , I would have liked to unpack it and set it up, but I'd decided that to-day I was going to paint, something I haven't done at home for some time. I have several paintings in various stage of finish, and I am gong to make a start on them, finish them off, take them to my dance club and flog them for about a fiver each,  I have promised a friend's wife one for loaning him out to me with his trailer totake a load of wood and garden rubbish to the tip.
After lunch I carried on painting till about 4.30 and then decided I'd unpack the printer before I take the dogs out again, I had a phone call from my daughter, which lasted for an hour, well we had to catch up on her new job, so, the printer is still in it's box.  while I remember, my tree, it has sprouted leaves like you wouldn't believe, so here it is...

Thank you for visiting and please come back, Arlene, Tango and Ruby

    1. Thank you Beth. It's a Lime, I wonder if that's where the description of the Lime green colour comes from as the colour of the leaves is very acidic like. Just a muse.

  2. That tree is nice and green now, our trees here in Edmonton, Canada, are just starting to green up. Hope your weather gets better soon.

    1. With all the rain we've had Horst, it seems like everything underground is coming up for air, such an explosion of green. Thankfully to-day has been sunny, such a nice change.

    1. The tree was growing so big, it had to be pollarded about three years ago, so IMP it's full beauty is gone, but it's still quite a majestic old lady.
Yes we are hoping for sunshine over the weekend, to-day was very nice, ideal for drying the washing. though it's not as warm as I'd like. I did notice that the wet weather will be returning on Monday, :(. I'll try and keep my sticky little paws off the printer, though I have a few photos to print,
You too enjoy your weekend with a nice walk with Wile-e perhaps to see the horses in the field.
Take care XX hugs from we 3.
